 Last summer, I had the honor of visiting EHT again, the famous sheet metal machinery manufacturing enterprise in Germany . This company is located on a town named Tennigen of the southwest of Germany which borders on Switzerland with a long history that can be traced back 230 years ago. However, ACL was just 26 years on her last birthday. We celebrated her birthday as well as realized the gap between us and the highest level of this industry which not only embodies in the established time ,but also the thought of loving scientific, the workmanship of striving for excellent and the spirit of perseverance. After all, it is a great country where Einstein was born.

On that day, when we reached Frankfurt Airport , Dr. Schowere, The CEO of EHT, picked up us to their factory. The distance between the airport and their factory is nearly 300km. But we had only spent more than two hours to there for we were driving a way without highest speed limitation. It is said that Germany is the only country that does not set speed limitation which also proves that Germany is a country with emphasis on rules and high national quality.

We passed through the famous BLACK FOREST along the way and finally came to the quite town---Tennigen. Actually, the name of EHT is relevant to this town, E stands for Easy, H stands for hammer and T is Tennigen which connected meaning is "easy use hammer in Tennigen". We can imagine 200 years ago, when EHT was born in this town, they mainly forged iron.

EHT covers a small area but with compact layout. The warehouse is very clean and well organized. And workers do their jobs orderly. We know it is the factory that produces hundreds of high-tech numerical control press brakes used widely by customer all over the word. TRUMPF in Germany is one of the most famous metal sheet machinery manufacturers in the word. The nonstandard numerical control press brakes of this company are all supplied by EHT.

The first full automatic numerical control press brake in the word was produced by EHT for Rittal, which had more than 30 axes and produced different metal sheet box continuously and automatically. EHT also provides other famous companies with different numerical control press brake such as BUTTING, European union Airbus Corporation and so on.

On that day, Dr. Showerer showed us into their small museum which was an old building for workshop 200year ago. Because they produced mainly cutter at that time, the machines reserved were relative with cutter among which the most remarkable was hammer. The power came from the fountain of mountain driving the waterwheel to raise the hammer and then the hammer fell down to beat the cutter on and on.

It is really amazing that the museum is retained so completely and perfectly after being beaten by elements for 200 years. The market manager, Mr Fischer told us EHT barely escaped from bombing of USA for EHT was managed by an American at that time.

It is interesting that the fountain is still flowing from mountain continuously and the hammer can be still used now from which we realize that the manufacturing product in Germany is top-ranking and so is the environment protection.

Mr. Fischer told us Goethe, the famous poet and thinker in Germany 18th century, often visited Tennigen for his sister lived in this town. Goethe wrote a poem for singing of the fountain. I read some Goethe' poems when I was young. I can't remember the poem completely but a famous maxim in my mind clearly: The first and last thing for a successor required is the love to ideal.
